For us, a successful interior is about more than the individual elements within a space. It is about how materials, textures, colour and craftsmanship come together to create something that feels considered and complete.
That philosophy was at the heart of our recent collaboration with Rugs.ie, working together to source a statement rug for a private residential project in Kinsale, County Cork.
The project centred around a sophisticated basement space designed for relaxing and entertaining. With bespoke cabinetry, rich textures and carefully considered lighting already establishing the atmosphere, we wanted to introduce a piece that would complement the scheme while bringing its own sense of character.
Rugs.ie helped us find the perfect solution: a hand-knotted rug from their luxury collection, combining wool and bamboo silk with an expressive abstract design and rich jewel tones. Its soft, tactile finish added another layer of warmth and depth to the room, while the contemporary design sat naturally alongside the more traditional craftsmanship of the bespoke joinery.
For us, the collaboration was a natural fit.
