Set beneath a tall, vaulted ceiling and flooded with natural light, the Goleen kitchen is designed as a calm, architectural centrepiece within an open living space. The room balances restraint and warmth, combining sculptural forms, rich materials and concealed functionality to create a kitchen that feels both refined and deeply practical.
A bank of precision-built appliances sits neatly within a bespoke housing, maintaining the kitchen’s symmetry and clarity. Nearby, a floating sideboard beneath the window offers additional preparation space while keeping the room feeling open and light.
The palette is deliberately restrained—soft greys, warm metals, natural stone and dark timber—allowing the textures and craftsmanship to speak for themselves. Overhead, sculptural pendant lights introduce a gentle sense of movement, while large windows frame views of the surrounding landscape and bring shifting daylight into the space throughout the day.
The result is a kitchen that feels considered and quietly luxurious: a place designed not only for cooking, but for living, gathering and everyday rituals.
At the heart of the space sits a generous island finished in dark, fluted timber. The vertical detailing introduces rhythm and texture, contrasting with the pale stone worktop that runs across its surface. A circular breakfast table extends from the island, creating a relaxed place to gather while subtly softening the strong linear geometry of the room. Upholstered stools and warm timber accents bring a tactile comfort to the composition.
Opposite the island, a wall of integrated cabinetry is finished in brushed brass. The tall doors create a seamless, architectural plane, concealing the functional elements of the kitchen behind a calm, minimal façade. Long bronze handles add a sculptural detail while maintaining the vertical emphasis of the cabinetry.
Behind these doors, the space reveals a series of hidden functions: integrated refrigeration, a dedicated laundry area, and a beautifully detailed drinks cabinet with illuminated shelving. This concealed approach keeps the visual language of the room quiet and uncluttered, allowing materials and proportions to take centre stage.
